Three different things #
If anyone is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical, police, or fire assistance, call 911 first. Ride's forms and support channels are not an emergency service.
- Emergency response: 911. For immediate danger, injuries, crimes in progress, or urgent medical needs. Ride cannot dispatch police, fire, or medical help, and submitting a Ride form never contacts emergency services.
- Safety response: Ride's safety review of incidents connected to the platform — impairment, threats, misconduct, discrimination, unsafe driving, and similar reports.
- General support: account, payment, app, and trip questions that are not safety issues.
What you can report #
- Accident involving a trip.
- Suspected driver impairment (zero-tolerance).
- Threats or violence.
- Sexual misconduct.
- Harassment.
- Discrimination.
- Service-animal refusal.
- Unsafe driving.
- Wrong driver or wrong vehicle at pickup.
- Account impersonation or takeover.
- Lost item (handled under the Lost Items policy).
- Payment issue (routed to support).
- Any other safety concern.
How to report #
- In the app: trip safety tools and "report an issue" flows, which attach trip context automatically.
- On the web: ridebylamar.com/safety/report.
- Email or phone: support@ridebylamar.com / (561) 542-7560.
What happens with your report #
Reports go to Ride's safety review, which may pause the other party's account during investigation, gather trip records, and contact you for details. Ride protects reporter information: reports do not expose your personal information to the person you reported, and accused users' information is likewise not shared with reporters beyond what the process requires. Where conduct may be criminal, Ride cooperates with law enforcement under the Law-Enforcement and Government Request Guidelines.
Accidents #
After any accident involving a platform trip: ensure safety first (call 911 if needed), exchange required information, and report the accident to Ride identifying the trip and whether the driver was online, en route to pickup, or transporting a rider. Insurance handling follows the Driver Insurance Disclosure.
