Protect your account #
- Use a strong, unique password, and keep verification codes private — Ride will never ask you for a verification code by phone or email.
- Your account works on one active device at a time; signing in on a new device signs out the old one.
- Review your account contact details regularly so recovery information stays current.
- Tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. Email support@ridebylamar.com or call (561) 542-7560.
No account sharing #
Accounts are personal. Riders may not let others ride under their account except through the guest-trip feature, where the account holder remains responsible. Drivers may never share an account or allow a substitute driver — identity checks may be required before going online, and the person driving must be the approved account holder.
No impersonation #
- Do not impersonate another person, a Ride employee, or a driver you are not.
- Drivers must use their real identity, photo, and the vehicle on file. A different driver or vehicle at pickup is a safety issue — riders should not enter, and should report it.
- Phishing and social-engineering attempts against users or staff violate this policy and may be criminal.
What Ride does #
Ride verifies driver identity during onboarding and with periodic checks, enforces single-active-device sessions, and investigates impersonation reports with priority. Wrong-driver and impersonation reports can pause accounts immediately while investigated.
